Volunteer and Internships

Are you a student in a mental health or wellness-related discipline? Or are you in a field such as public health, graphic design, education, communication or organizational development? Are you looking for more experience working in this field?

What is it?

You can volunteer or intern in various capacities at the Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation. Volunteers and interns are asked to fill out an application and usually are interviewed to ensure that there is a match between your interests, skills and our needs.

Work directly with people in mental health recovery

If you want more information about becoming a volunteer or an intern working directly with people with lived experience in the field of psychiatric rehabilitation, please, contact Dori Hutchinson.  Additionally, fill out a Services Division Internship Application Form.

Inquiries can be directed to Kayla Hoffstein, via email at keh1351@bu.edu or phone at +1 (857) 445-2861‬.

Gain experience in training, communications, and knowledge translation in the field of mental health

Are you looking for more experience in areas such as knowledge translation, marketing, communications, training or organizational development?  Are you a person looking to contribute your skills in these areas as applied to mental health, wellness and recovery? If you are, then consider volunteering or doing an internship in the Training, Dissemination and Consultation Division.
