What is it about?
Researchers design and conduct studies on innovative interventions and evaluation studies to enhance our understanding of factors that can positively affect the recovery of persons with psychiatric disabilities. We use a variety of research approaches such as randomized trials, surveys, and qualitative methods and we study a variety of outcomes such as quality of life, empowerment, recovery, and role functioning.
Who is it for?
Research results can be useful to other researchers and evaluators in the field and to advance our knowledge and understanding of what works best to promote recovery. Research results can also be useful to individuals with a lived experience and their families as well as service providers, administrators and policy makers who are interested in best, promising and evidence-based practices.
