Want better employment outcomes for your clients?

Currently providing Supported Employment services?

What is TSW?

  • TSW works together with Supported Employment services.
  • TSW is a cognitive enhancement program aimed at increasing important thinking skills to help people get and keep jobs.
  • TSW enhances cognitive abilities such as: attention, memory, planning, problem-solving, thinking speed, self-confidence, and optimism.

Why offer TSW?

  • Cognitive functioning is a strong predictor of work outcomes.
  • Research shows that TSW improves cognitive functioning and work outcomes more than usual vocational services.

What do providers say about it?

“My only regret is that I took so long to engage in the Thinking Skills for Work cognitive training program. Watching my clients gain insight into how their brain works, learning new cognitive strategies to be able to learn and grow, and realize all that they are capable of was an incredible experience. It is hands-on. It is something that clients can do that feels productive and fun. I highly recommend incorporating TSW into every community mental health clinic.”
– Sarah Haefele, LCSW, Over 20 years’ experience working with adults in a community mental health clinic.

“TSW is an outstanding intervention tool for our job seekers. Implementing the program has been seamless and well-aligned with the employment services offered at Thresholds. Utilizing TSW has positively impacted our members resulting in improved work outcomes for so many who have been exposed to the intervention.”
– Adrienne Brown, IPS Program Director, Thresholds Inc.
