Research & Evaluation Projects

Researchers design and conduct studies on innovative interventions to enhance our understanding of factors that can positively affect the recovery of persons with psychiatric conditions. We use a variety of research approaches such as randomized trials, surveys, and qualitative methods and we study different outcomes such as quality of life, empowerment, work, recovery, and role functioning. We receive funding from a variety of sources to conduct our research, most prominently the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living and Rehabilitation Research and the National Institute on Mental Health, among others.
