NEW ONLINE SEMINAR ON RESEARCH ISSUES FOR CONSUMERS

The Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation at Boston University is pleased to announce a new Professional Development Program Online Seminar entitled, Research Issues for Mental Health Consumers/Survivors.  The basic concepts, terms, and procedures of research are outlined in this online seminar.  This online seminar will help participants to become aware of the various roles consumers/survivors can play in a research study and their rights in the research process. This increased awareness will allow participants to better understand the research studies that consumers/survivors are involved in as well as the research study results.  Successful participation in this online seminar earns 10 Professional Development Program (PDP) hours, which can be used for continuing education purposes.  For more information, refer to the following webpage at: http://www.bu.edu/cpr/training/distance/seminars/researchissuesdescription.html
