THE PRINCIPLE OF PERSONHOOD
In a recent editorial “The Principle of Personhood: The Field’s Transcendent Principle”, William Anthony highlights the importance of remembering that people with psychiatric disabilities want the same things that most people want, i.e., meaningful work, a decent place to live, and friendship. Supporting the principle of personhood in all of our research, training, and services offers an assurance that good things will follow. Published in the Winter 2004 issue of the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Journal, this editorial is available for free download at the following link: http://www.bu.edu/cpr/prj/winter2004/anthony.html
